Meet our Title 1 Team!

  • Title 1 Coordinator: Cheryl Edstrom

Mrs. Edstrom serves as our Title I Coordinator, which means she works with students who struggle with reading and math, and helps them to improve their skills.  She does this using many innovative methods learned through research and many hours of Professional Development.  She wants to be sure and find the best way for each student to reach their own potential.

As a Lifelong Learner, Mrs. Edstrom has spent much of her time exploring new ideas and searching out best practices and methods across many disciplines.  She has learned to trust the concept of equity in learning, instead of equality. She strongly believes that every child can learn when we make the effort to find the best path for their individual needs.  She has been a part of Sunny Wolf Charter School since 2017.

Mrs. Edstrom lives with her husband, dog, cat, fish and chickens in the woods near Hugo. She likes to watercolor, read, and do home improvement projects in her spare time. She also likes Scrabble and to put together puzzles and play board games with her (grown) children.
