The Sunny Wolf Charter School (SWCS) Preschool has a non-profit Preschool Promise classroom and two private classrooms.  The preschool is a licensed childcare center that is insured and adheres to state/SPARK requirements and regulations. As required by state and federal civil rights laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), this center does not discriminate against any child on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, marital status of parent, or because of a need for special care.  We will take all reasonable steps to serve people with disabilities in our center. The SWCS Preschool will continue the mission of the elementary school, to spark in every child the desire to learn by providing a safe, nurturing learning environment. We know that it takes a community to raise a child and the preschool will work with families and community partners to do that. We are an inclusive school, we work to meet the needs of every child.  Our purpose as a school is to provide services and experiences to empower children to rise above their community circumstances. The children will receive rich, hands-on experiences that include literacy, mathematics, music, art, physical education, and outdoor education. Play and exploration will be at the forefront of our program.  We will work to provide inclusive support for preschoolers to make our school accessible for all. Our goal is to give every preschooler a rich learning environment full of experiences and to prepare them for the social-emotional and educational aspects of Kindergarten.
