Welcome to Third Grade!

Mrs. Phillips joined our Sunny Wolf Team in 2021 as a Special Education Assistant specifically working with Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Prior to working at Sunny Wolf, Mrs. Phillips worked for the South Umpqua school district as a Title 1 assistant for several years. She currently holds an emergency teaching license and is due to graduate from Eastern Oregon University in the spring, granting her a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. During the summer of 2023, she was offered our 3rd grade teaching position and she excitedly accepted.

Amber lives in Azalea with her husband, three kids, three dogs, two cats, and lots of chickens. Some of her favorite things include gardening, camping, hiking, playing with her kids, music, driving in the woods, and board games.

She believes that every child is unique and we all learn at different rates.

Laurie is originally from Northern California where one of her hobbies was jet skiing and other water sports. She moved to Southern Oregon in 2015.

She is married and has six grandchildren, two of whom attend Sunny Wolf Charter School. She enjoys working with kids.

Her hobbies are gardening, cooking, camping, and spending time with family!
