This week the 3rd grade students were learning about polygons, quadrilaterals, and angles. They learned quadrilaterals have four sides and their various attributes. They discovered squares, rectangles, parallelograms, trapezoids, rhombuses and kites are all in the family of quadrilaterals. So their art project was to make a kite using quadrilaterals.
